Good Luck to the Webster Family as you leave this week. Your family at Chapel Next will miss you!!
Volunteer opportunity– We need someone to work the soundboard. Dave will be deploying soon so we need to get someone immediately, so he/she can be trained up. The commitment is for 3:00 pm every Sunday. The person will operate the soundboard and computer during service.
– We need two more people to volunteer as ushers. This way, we have a rotation and two people don’t have it every week. Please see Chaplain Wallace or Travis for more information.
Temporary Time Change– February 5, we will hold service at 5:00 pm. There will be no meal that day. We will have communion. This is Superbowl Sunday.
Christian Education for Biblical Resiliency: God intends that we weather storms and live through the seasons of life. Every year the trees and flowers and bushes die and lose their leaves. But they come back every single Spring. God, our Creator, designs us to bounce back from the trials and crises. Come – attend – grow. Chaplain (Colonel) White will hold the class, and it is part of a research project exploring the subject. The class begins January 18 at Memorial Chapel. Class is at 6:00pm and will last for nine weeks. Children’s classes are provided as well.
Wednesday Meals- You can find the Wednesday meal schedule under Dinner Menus. The main page is for Chapel Next, the drop down is for Wednesday Night Religious Education.
Colossians 3:23–24 — Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
